Boris Lurie's extensive and controversial work is comprehensively presented from August 27, 2014 in National Socialist Documentation Center in Cologne (NS-Dokumentationszentrum), the former Cologne headquarters of the Gestapo.
The exhibition, developed in cooperation with Boris Lurie Art Foundation, New York, under the curatorial direction of Gertrude Stein, gallerist and Chairman of the Board, Boris Lurie Art Foundation, will show all of Lurie's artistic stages. Starting with the body of work created shortly after his release from Buchenwald concentration camp, the paintings and collages of the NO!art movement as well as the late sculptural works are featured in this retrospective exhibition.
